On October 29th (happy birthday to me!), I delivered a session on Microsoft Loop during the DIWUG Community meetup at Rapid Circle Netherlands, exploring its information management capabilities and how organizations can effectively govern its use. I began with an overview of the Loop app, highlighting its core features and how it enhances collaboration within Microsoft 365.
I then walked through key management options, including how to enable or disable Loop and its features, apply retention policies, leverage sensitivity labels for data protection, and manage containers efficiently. These governance tools are essential for organizations looking to strike the right balance between flexibility and security.
With Microsoft Loop evolving rapidly, I also shared the latest updates on its roadmap, giving attendees a glimpse of what’s ahead and how they can prepare for new capabilities. Whether they were new to Loop or looking to refine their approach, the session offered practical insights to help them maximize its potential.
