On October 1st, I presented a session on Microsoft Loop at NEXXT in Groningen during a UGNN community meetup, focusing on its information management capabilities and how organizations can govern its use effectively. I started with an introduction to the Loop app, covering its core functionality and how it enhances collaboration across Microsoft 365.
From there, I explored the various management options available, including how to enable or disable Loop and its individual features, apply retention policies, use sensitivity labels to protect content, and implement container management strategies. These controls are essential for organizations looking to balance flexibility with compliance and security.
With many updates on the horizon, I also walked through the latest roadmap for Loop, highlighting what’s coming next and how organizations can prepare for new capabilities. Whether attendees were just getting started with Loop or refining their governance strategy, the session provided valuable insights to help them make the most of the platform.
